Paste coordinates in any format — decimal, DMS, UTM, or a Google Maps link. GPSwitch opens Waze in one tap.
Open GPSwitchWaze is designed primarily for address-based navigation. If someone sends you GPS coordinates — especially in a non-standard format like DMS or UTM — there is no built-in way to paste them directly into Waze. You need to convert them to a Waze-compatible link first.
GPSwitch solves this in one step: paste any coordinate, and tap the Waze button. Navigation starts immediately.
This works with any coordinate format, including DMS, UTM, Plus Codes, Google Maps links, and more.
If you already have decimal coordinates and want to create a Waze link yourself, use this URL format:
Replace LAT with the latitude and LNG with the longitude in decimal degrees. Examples:
Opens the Eiffel Tower in Waze with navigation enabled.
Opens Manhattan, New York in Waze.
The navigate=yes parameter tells Waze to start navigation immediately rather than just showing a pin on the map.
Waze accepts plain decimal coordinates typed directly into its search bar, but only in the format lat, lng with a comma separator and no extra characters. This means:
48°51'30"N) will not work in Waze searchFor any format other than plain decimal, GPSwitch is the fastest solution.
Paste the Google Maps URL into GPSwitch. It extracts the coordinates and shows the Waze button alongside Google Maps and Apple Maps.
Paste 48°51'30"N, 2°17'40"E into GPSwitch. It converts to decimal and generates the Waze link automatically. See the DMS to Decimal guide for the manual formula.
Plus Codes like 8FW4V89C+5R are supported. Paste into GPSwitch and tap Waze.
Surveying and military coordinates in UTM format (e.g., 31U 448251E 5411932N) are fully supported by GPSwitch.
GPSwitch generates links for multiple navigation apps at once, not just Waze. From the same input you also get:
All from a single paste. Try the full GPS converter to see everything GPSwitch supports.
Paste your coordinates, address, or map link and tap Waze. No account, no installation on desktop.
